I hold a bachelors degree in English from Creighton University. I am currently finishing a master's degree at Creighton in Liberal Studies. My thesis is a comparative of the medieval and modern pilgrimage in regard to both theology and literature.
Experience
I currently work as a high school media specialist and am quite up to date on trends in young adult literature as well as what is commonly taught in the classroom. Before my current job I ran three different after school programs that were both academic and recreational in nature. In high school I was the president of my school's chapter of the National Honor Society and I am a member of two university level honor societies: Sigma Tau Delta (English) and Theta Alpha Kappa (Theology).
